🛠️Must Have Software Tools and Apps
There is no doubt that digital innovation had brought us so many software tools, apps, and websites to help keep us more productive and organized but there are so many options available that it can take someone hours every day combing through all the options and never figure out which ones will be best for them. Trust me. I have been there. I have been doing side hustles for most of my life and with every new project comes a new feature or service that I need and over the years I have tried and tested hundreds of these solutions.
I want to share with you a list of resources that I use on a daily basis to help keep me organizes and productive. I am not sure not all of these solutions will appeal to everyone, but there is a nice mix of personal and business tools for you to consider. Hopefully this will help some of you with some tough decisions.

📊Data Science
Working through the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate Course available through Coursera.
🎬Film Making
As I become more involved in other YouTube projects there has been an undeniably need for me to step up my editing game so I have been digging deep into Adobe Premier Pro and kind of getting into some more branding strategies within my content. Hopefully you will notice a difference in the quality of my videos and there will be much more to come as I get more involved in working with B-Roll footage, music, graphic design and color grading. Let me know what you think.
📖What I am reading
🗝️I have completed Outliers by Malcom Gladwell. I will have my complete review available on my website soon.
💵I am in the beginning chapters of Die With Zero by Bill Perkins. This is a much-awaited book for me and it seems appropriate given the current financial climate that we are in.
💡I am also listening to the Audible version of Beyond the Valley: How Innovators Around the World are Overcoming Inequality and Creating Technologies of Tomorrow. This book interests me because I work full time in the technology field at one of the Big 5’s and it is important to hear some of the big picture concerns that thought leaders are discussing. This book is looking at some of the ways we can repair the disconnect between designers and users, producers and consumers, and tech elites and the rest of the world. I’ve completed the first two chapters and starting to get to the meat of the content, but my first impressions are okay. I think he is hinting at some of the most pressing issues correctly, but I am waiting to make a judgment once I hear what kind of solutions he presents.
🛠️Project Updates
🏗️Building a new client website
Almost completed the new website for a client. Building on Shopify has been a learning experience as I usually use other tools for the websites that I build but I felt I should give it a try based on the clients needs with he project being a clothing and fashion ecommerce store.

I have been underestimating the power of rest. Since we are just getting off the Independence Day Holiday here in the US, I wanted to take a quick minute to share my thoughts on the power of rest. Like most of you, I always looked to holidays as a time to celebrate and take exciting trips and spend time with the family but as my personal life and business demands have grown over the years, I am finding more value in just learning to take advantage of some time away from the day job and just relax and unwind. After hustling for the past 3 months at work, creating content and taking on several clients for my side hustles I have been running on fumes the past couple of weeks. The holiday weekend gave me some needed time to get caught up on my sleep, strategize with my wife on our future goals together and spend some quality time in solitude reflecting on the first half of the year and making decisions on how to best focus my energy for the second half of 2022. I appreciate you all for following me on this journey and I promise you there is plenty more excitement to come.
